What Gave Birth
Dear visitor to CyberScamAlert.com: They scammed me. Can you imagine the gall! Me? Yes me — I was a victim of cyber scam for the second time. But I fought back and also called on my bank for assistance to stop the crooks. But what about those many victims who are not as energy-laden or lucky? I was mad as hell and didn't take it anymore. |

Now you know what gave birth to Cyber Scam Alert. Before I let loose and tell you what's in the offing at Cyber Scam Alert, I need you to know who I am, where I come from, and what I will do for you that is of benefit to you. Who am I and why am I doing this? The stoic stuff is at www.GrandLifestyle.com/introduce.htm. As I am reminded of more and I recall more, handing my computer technology business to my employees and wandering off into the world of writing and publishing — standing up in defense of the religious theory of seeking truth to arrive at justice — I had and continue to have the time of my life and am proud of these accomplishments (and, hopefully, learned from my many mistakes):
1. I researched on behalf of my grand condominium neighbors (soon to be close to 1,000) the truth of the one guy's schemes (magnified by lackeys and toadies) to control the multi-use condo complex. His dishonest conduct at a meeting of homeowners triggered his exposure and subsequent run-in with and severe punishment by the law. I researched even more, published the truth, the FBI investigated, expensive attorneys got paid a million bucks or more, and he dodged jail by having his across-the-border company pay a fine of nearly a million US dollars to Uncle Sam. 2. Within a period of less than two decades, I won and survived six onslaughts by the badies, as their sufferers called them. When the judges agreed with me and found no violation of the First Amendment in my publishing, they (and perhaps schemed up by their attorneys who lie a lot and one who is personally involved in what may become their biggest shenanigan in South Florida) did what they think buys everyone — use money. 3. When they did it a second time, their guilt became clearer and clearer; that is now even more documented in the public records, including the court files. Why did they "waste" good money and didn't simply secure a judge's order declaring my writing false and in violation of the First Amendment? They could now be free of my no-holds-barred journalistic exposures of the truth. They, who commit criminal misdeeds, should be in jail. Who will it be? It's in a judge's hands. The facts (it's also the truth) are now embedded in the court files and must be read by you to understand what's going on and by a judge who stands up for and represents the law. 4. Another set of documentary evidence, reported to be of more than 60 pages, and collected by one condo owner who apparently couldn't take it anymore, is now in the public domain in lawsuit number six. The case in which I am named one of the defendants (I am still not sure if she was named to silence me or I was named to silence her) is number 07-118-42 CA 20 in the Circuit Court of the 11th Judicial Circuit in and for Miami-Dade County, Florida, now presided over by The Honorable Ronald Dresnick, and now known for an exemplary definition of "publishing" worthy of discourse in an academic setting. This case (pushed into the limelight by the previous five lawsuits), identifies a case that can no longer be erased and pushed into oblivion in a "lawful" manner in Miami; instead it is aiming for The Supreme Court of the United States if the one attorney who presently may be billing handsomely in the case continues to document his inability to understand what a journalist is and what journalism, "publishing" and the First Amendment stand for, and how to successfully hide criminal enterprises. Is it a case of "non compos mentis" (Black's Judicial Dictionary defines it well) or the ugly disease of avarice? That reminds me of a wise Roman author, orator and politician who got going long before us (he's credited with 63 years from 106 BC to 43 BC). But let Cicero's wisdom be a light of guidance, "When money is unreasonably coveted, it is a disease of the mind which is called avarice."
5. Well, let me not leave out the price I paid for setting my love aside. I loved to play tennis and was a member of a ritzy club located on an island in Biscayne Bay. But when the restaurant's food drifted far away from the management's and menu's promises and I stood up for Biscayne Bay and its inhabitants (we loved to see the dolphins and manatees swim by), I became persona non grata when my writing was appealing to the club members' conscience, but there were no takers. Apathy and greed triumphed. I was kicked out of the private club and informed to face prompt arrest were I to set foot on the island again. I did feel considerable relief when I learned our swimming friends, without the ability to fend for themselves, could look toward a safe future — Miami-Dade County came to their rescue when the pollution atrocities were ordered remedied.
What more is there to do? After 72 years of ups and downs I see the next decade or two (maybe three?) as new challenges, not so much in engaging in investigative reporting but in opening better communication channels with the victims and the proper authorities. Yes, it's the plural to describe what I am aiming for. Cyber Scam Alert is one because there's a need to be filled and many are victims of unscrupulous mistle toe replicas (it's a parasite camouflaged by the sweetness of kisses fable). And those who know me know it, I will only do what is of benefit to those who need help and if I enjoy doing a good deed.
